About The Position
The Groundskeeper Lead reports to the Facilities Manager and is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of the resort grounds. This hands-on role assists with grounds maintenance and supporting the grounds team to ensure the resort remains clean, safe, and guest-ready year-round.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform grounds maintenance, including trimming, mulching, weed control, and debris removal
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the resort, including guest sites, roadways, and common areas
- Remove storm debris and address outdoor safety hazards
- Operate power tools and company vehicles safely
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist in leading and supporting grounds team members
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
