About The Position
The Groundskeeper assists the Supervisor of Grounds in maintaining TANDEM LIVING grounds, shrubs, trees, and grass. The position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING’s Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations. This is a full-time, year-round position at Woodcrest Villa, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties for snow removal.
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
- At least two years of driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate company vehicles.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience working as a groundskeeper or nursery worker is preferred but not required.
- Pesticide license preferred, or must be obtained within one year.
Responsibilities
- Assist in caring for all TANDEM LIVING grounds, including trimming trees and shrubs, maintaining flower beds, and mowing grass.
- Properly apply pesticides.
- Assist in implementing snow and ice procedures.
- Safely drive a car, van, truck, or tractor in a variety of weather conditions.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment related to grounds care.
