About The Position
This Full-Time position, working with our Grounds Crew, is ideal for someone who is looking to be active and spend a lot of time outdoors! The hours consist of Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm and some on call hours during the winter.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid PA Driver's License
- Mechanically inclined
- Strong customer service skills
- Enjoys being outside
- Able to work alone or as part of a team
- Accuracy, dependability, initiative and the desire to be a part of a team
Responsibilities
- Mowing, trimming, blowing, or cutting grass, shrubbery and minor tree trimming.
- Landscaping responsibilities such as mulching, weeding, plantings, cleaning out, etc.
- Caring for and maintenance of all the fountains around the site.
- Regularly cleaning and sweeping off outside entrances, patios, gazebo’s, etc.
- Assist the Facility Services Department during snow removal process and safely operate both small and large equipment (i.e., snow blowers, Bobcat, salt spreaders, etc.).
- Basic maintenance tasks as assigned (i.e., moving furniture, event set ups, etc.)
