About The Position

The Facilities Management Grounds department is hiring a student worker for the fall semester to help maintain the grounds on the University of St. Thomas–Saint Paul campus. Work includes mowing, trash pickup, landscaping, and snow removal. Scheduling is flexible within the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a background check, including a review of driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able and willing to work outdoors in rain or shine.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be a St. Thomas student pursuing a degree at the undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral level.
• Must be actively enrolled at least part-time in courses for credit.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain grounds on the University of St. Thomas–Saint Paul campus.
• Mow lawns.
• Pick up trash.
• Perform landscaping.
• Remove snow.
