About The Position

The Grounds Specialist is responsible for landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep of property grounds, ensuring that all outdoor areas are safe, attractive, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate has previous experience in landscaping and grounds management, is comfortable performing physical work in various weather conditions, and has a commitment to maintaining beautiful and safe outdoor spaces. Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor daily.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous landscaping/groundskeeping and/or snow removal experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the day-to-day maintenance of lawns, gardens, pathways, parking areas, and other outdoor spaces to ensure they are well-kept and visually appealing.
  • Perform general landscaping tasks, such as mowing, trimming, mulching, pruning, fertilizing, watering, and seasonal plantings.
  • Ensure that pathways, entrances, and parking areas are cleared of snow, ice, leaves, and debris to maintain a safe environment year-round.
  • Operate landscaping and snow removal equipment including mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, snow blowers, and small machinery.
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards for all tasks.
  • Work with team members to ensure timely completion of daily tasks and projects.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks and projects as directed during the off-season to support site operations.
