Maintain golf course and landscaping around the course, clubhouse and other club facilities, including parking lots. This role involves planting and maintaining ornamental shrubs and trees, trimming and feeding them, and maintaining landscape beds. Responsibilities also include raking and blowing leaves, mowing greens and fairways using turf equipment, preparing and laying sod, and maintaining annual and perennial flowers. The position also requires raking bunkers, loading and unloading materials, repairing and maintaining driving range tees, cleaning equipment, aerifying and spiking greens, digging holes and trenches for irrigation and drainage, installing pipe, backfilling excavations, and emptying garbage cans. The Grounds Person will also attend staff meetings and perform other tasks assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
