About The Position

The Grounds Person will demonstrate Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members. This role involves operating a pickup truck and/or golf cart for daily work, emptying trash cans at various locations including pools, buildings, and parking lots, and disposing of grease and cooking oil properly. The position also includes picking up trash from curbs and surrounding areas, sweeping curbs and sidewalks, cleaning grounds, and removing litter. Additionally, the Grounds Person will empty trash cans in public area buildings, empty dumpsters, operate the trash compactor, empty recycle bins, break down cardboard, and ensure the work area is left clean, neat, and safe. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, for up to eight (8) hours.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate pickup truck and/or a golf cart in daily work.
• Empties all trash cans at pools, three story buildings and team member parking lot as needed.
• Disposes of grease and cooking oil in proper containers.
• Pick up trash from curbs on property and surrounding areas to highway.
• Sweeps curbs and sidewalks.
• Cleans grounds and removes litter.
• Empty trash cans in the public area buildings.
• Empty dumpsters.
• Operates trash compactor.
• Empties recycle bins.
• Breaks down cardboard items and places in appropriate containers.
• Leaves work area in a clean, neat and safe condition.
• Other duties may be assigned.
