About The Position

As a Grounds Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the resort grounds. This includes operating a pickup truck or golf cart for daily tasks, emptying trash receptacles, disposing of waste properly, picking up litter, sweeping sidewalks, and operating equipment like a trash compactor. The role requires attention to detail to ensure the work area is left clean, neat, and safe. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Valid Drivers License.
Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 35 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs, for up to eight (8) hour.
Able to work weekends and holidays.

Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Operate pickup truck and/or a golf cart in daily work.
Empties all trash cans at pools, three story buildings and team member parking lot as needed.
Disposes of grease and cooking oil in proper containers.
Pick up trash from curbs on property and surrounding areas to highway.
Sweeps curbs and sidewalks.
Cleans grounds and removes litter.
Empty trash cans in the public area buildings.
Empty dumpsters.
Operates trash compactor.
Empties recycle bins.
Breaks down cardboard items and places in appropriate containers.
Leaves work area in a clean, neat and safe condition.
Other duties may be assigned.
