Requirements
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with a good driving record required.
- Working knowledge of turf maintenance practices and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Self motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous golf course maintenance or professional grounds/landscaping experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and surrounding grounds to established course standards.
- Perform detailed bunker maintenance including shaping, edging, and ensuring consistent playability.
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment such as walk behind and riding mowers, utility vehicles, trimmers, blowers, and other small engine equipment.
- Assist with daily course setup and breakdown.
- Participate in course improvement, construction, drainage, and renovation projects.
- Identify turf, drainage, or aesthetic issues and proactively address or report them.
- Perform hands on landscaping tasks including trimming, debris removal, and seasonal clean ups.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe, clean, and professional manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of chemicals and materials.
- Support overall team goals related to turf health and course presentation.
