About The Position

Winvian, a Relais & Chateaux luxury resort in the Litchfield Hills, is seeking a reliable full-time Grounds Maintenance Technician to help maintain the beauty, safety, and functionality of its property. This hands-on role involves varied tasks across guest cottages, facilities, and grounds.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Previous maintenance or grounds experience required.
• Strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible schedule; weekends and some holidays required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with painting and power equipment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across guest cottages, facilities, and grounds.
• Complete routine and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Handle painting, minor carpentry, and basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Operate landscaping and maintenance equipment, including mowers, tractors, and power tools.
• Assist with seasonal property upkeep, including grounds care and snow removal.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify and report safety hazards or repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support overall property operations.
