About The Position

ATI is seeking a motivated and qualified Grounds Maintenance Laborer for a facility in Springfield, Virginia. The role involves maintaining grounds through debris removal, mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and basic tree pruning. The employee will use landscaping and grounds equipment and may perform other related tasks as assigned. Normal hours are Monday through Friday, anticipating 40 hours per week, although hours may change based on training demands. The position requires working independently in a secure or sensitive environment and collaborating as part of a team.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.
• Able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Physically able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• General knowledge of weed trimmers and mowers.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris and other trash around the site and before mowing.
• Operate lawn mowers and other grass-cutting equipment.
• Trim and edge grass around trees, shrubs, mulched beds, poles, sidewalks, and other areas.
• Mulch and weed mulched beds.
• Cut or trim foliage and perform basic tree pruning as directed.
• Operate basic landscaping and other grounds equipment.
• Perform other similar tasks as directed.
