About The Position

ATI is seeking a motivated, qualified, and experienced Grounds Maintenance Laborer for a new facility in Springfield, Virginia. The role involves maintaining the facility grounds, including removing debris, mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and basic tree pruning. The employee may also perform other similar tasks as directed. Work is normally Monday through Friday, with an anticipated 40-hour workweek; hours may change based on training demands.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.
• Must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Should have general knowledge of weed trimmers and mowers.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris and other trash around the site and before mowing.
• Operate lawn mowers and other grass-cutting equipment.
• Trim and edge grass around trees, shrubs, mulched beds, poles, sidewalks, and other areas.
• Mulch and weed mulched beds.
• Cut or trim foliage and perform basic tree pruning as directed.
• Operate basic landscaping and other grounds equipment.
• Perform other similar tasks as directed.
