About The Position

Chicagoland Speedway is seeking Grounds Maintenance Event Staff to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining the landscaped areas of the facility to ensure a high standard of appearance. Key duties include mowing, edging, weeding, and general grounds cleaning such as trash and litter removal. The position also involves operating various types of equipment and maintaining it as needed to meet facility objectives. This is an event-based role with specific duties tied to ensuring the grounds are well-kept for racing events.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age.
Valid Driver’s License
Successfully pass a driving record check
Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Maintain landscaped areas as required to achieve desired results in the overall appearance of the facility.
Regular tasks include mowing, edging and weeding.
Clean grounds, including but not limited to removal of trash and litter.
Operate equipment of all types as directed and maintain equipment necessary to meet the goals and objectives of facility.
Other duties as assigned.
