About The Position
Chicagoland Speedway is seeking Grounds Maintenance Event Staff to help maintain the landscaped areas and grounds of the facility. This role involves regular tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and cleaning up trash and litter to ensure the overall appearance of the facility meets desired results. The position requires operating various types of equipment and maintaining them as necessary to achieve facility goals. This is an event-based role with specific duties related to maintaining the grounds.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Successfully pass a driving record check
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Maintain landscaped areas as required to achieve desired results in the overall appearance of the facility.
- Regular tasks include mowing, edging and weeding.
- Clean grounds, including but not limited to removal of trash and litter.
- Operate equipment of all types as directed and maintain equipment necessary to meet the goals and objectives of facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
