About The Position

The Grounds Laborer will perform work in accordance with the PWS requirements of the Branch, i.e., mowing, raking, weed abatement, tree trimming, weed eating, planting of shrubs, trees (up to 6 feet), grass, fertilizing, street maintenance and policing of areas listed in the PWS. This role involves performing a wide variety of labor tasks involved in the maintenance of facilities, street maintenance equipment and grounds at the Fort Irwin National Training Center. Labor tasks provided will assist trades people in the repair and maintenance of facilities, equipment, and grounds at the Fort Irwin National Training Center and occasionally the Barstow Dagget Airfield. The position requires participation in all APTIM/HDSS EHS and Quality procedures, the ability to act professionally in the presence of the public and co-workers, and the ability to accurately track time, work orders, and parts using electronic devices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Working knowledge of landscaping equipment.
• Must possess a valid California driver's license.

Responsibilities
