About The Position
A Warren Oil Company Grounds Keeper maintains the grounds of the property using hand or power tools or equipment. The role typically performs a variety of tasks, which may include pressure washing, and assisting the environmental technician in pumping storm water and trash collection. This position spends most work hours outside, subject to all types of weather, noise, and temperatures. There is possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and dangerous equipment, requiring the use of provided protective equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Running, maneuvering, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, pickup trucks, and a vacuum truck.
- Ability to work independently and in a group to meet deadlines

- Previous experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.
- Power wash any exterior as part of facility housekeeping.
- Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, pumps and pressure washer using hand or power tools.
- Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
- Pick up debris throughout the property and collect garbage from exterior trash cans on a daily basis.
- Assist environmental technician in pumping storm water and trash collection.
