About The Position

Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, perform activities to ensure the cleanliness of the Fitness Center.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to relate well with supervisors, co-workers, and the general public

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the Fitness Center
• Control odors in the facility by emptying trash, changing liners, cleaning garbage cans, and hauling trash out of the building
• Ensure that all trash throughout the building is picked up and disposed of properly
• Clean and sweep trash in parking areas, sidewalks, planters, park, and pool areas
• Ensure that all trash in the tennis area is picked up and that the tennis courts are free of debris
• Weed flower beds
• Rake leaves and/or grass as needed
• Perform other custodial duties when needed
• Vacuum and mop floors
• Clean windows
• Wash walls and woodwork
• Clean snow from sidewalks and spread ice melt where needed
• Wash and/or clean blinds and drapes
• Other duties as assigned
