About The Position
This position is responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled landscaping and grounds maintenance duties involved in the maintenance of landscaped areas on campus and operation of grounds maintenance machinery, equipment, and tools.
Requirements
- Prior grounds maintenance experience
- Must be able to operate a zero-turn mower
- Must have a valid NC driver's license
Responsibilities
- Participate in a variety of landscape maintenance duties including watering, mowing, weeding, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing lawns
- Maintain beds, ditch banks, and wood lines including mulching and weed control
- Sweep and/or blow off drive and parking lots; keep catch basins and other drainage features clear of debris
- Operate and maintain a variety of grounds maintenance landscaping heavy equipment, power tools, and hand tools
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required
