About The Position

This role is responsible for all landscaping and lawns in front yards, side yards, and the general upkeep of all property grounds. It also involves maintaining the appearance of building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. Seasonal duties include sidewalk and front stairwell snow and ice removal and monitoring.

Requirements

Operate a motor vehicle and possess a driver's license.
Maintain active and sustained driver's insurance.
Successfully pass a background check.
Demonstrate ability to perform tasks without seeking outside contractor assistance.
Demonstrate ability to contribute to and foster a team approach to serving residents and maintaining a successful community.

Responsibilities

Meticulously maintains total property appeal, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other community buildings.
Removes trash from office areas and the apartment community perimeter daily.
Assists in preparing market-ready units by removing trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
Assists the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
Assists in cleaning available apartments and/or models.
Assists the maintenance team with snow removal.
Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Represents the community in a professional manner at all times, both on and off property.
Upholds all company policies, goals, and values.
Maintains the highest level of personal appearance by being clean, professional, and wearing company-provided gear and ID tag.
Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner.
Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules.
Immediately reports all unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Technician.
