About The Position

Lincoln Park Apartments is hiring a Groundkeeper in North Houston. The role maintains clean, safe, and welcoming grounds and common areas, supports apartment make-ready work, and provides outstanding customer service to residents. The Groundkeeper also assists the maintenance team with light tasks and reports maintenance or safety concerns to management.

Requirements

• One or more years of experience in maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.
• Basic maintenance skills.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
• One or more years of experience in maintenance or custodial work.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal, cleaning, and maintenance of common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
• Pick up grounds daily.
• Help complete make-readies.
