About The Position

Lincoln Park Apartments is hiring a Groundkeeper in North Houston. The role focuses on keeping the apartment community clean, safe, neat, and welcoming, maintaining grounds and shared spaces, and helping prepare vacant apartments for market readiness. The Groundkeeper also provides customer service to residents, assists the maintenance team with light tasks, and reports maintenance or safety concerns to management. Grounds are picked up daily, and the role helps complete apartment make-readies.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
• Basic maintenance skills.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of experience in maintenance or custodial work.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for market-ready status through turnover repairs and improvements.
• Maintain grounds, including snow removal, cleaning, and upkeep of common areas.
• Provide residents with outstanding customer service.
• Keep the property clean and free of trash and debris.
• Pick up trash around buildings, parking areas, and common spaces.
• Clean breezeways, stairwells, and other shared areas.
• Maintain dumpster and trash areas.
• Assist the maintenance team with light tasks when needed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Help keep the community neat and welcoming for residents.
• Pick up grounds daily and help complete make-readies.
