About The Position

Responsible for the Ground Maintenance for existing legacy sites. This role involves ensuring the safety, quality, and operational readiness of company sites, including maintaining daily paperwork, implementing job instructions, and coordinating with customer representatives. The technician will also be responsible for equipment maintenance, performing Job Safety Analyses, inspecting completed work, and documenting all activities.

Requirements

  • Work with basic hand tools
  • Ability to lift/pull heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable working in the outdoor elements through all seasons
  • Must have a team-oriented mentality and be safety conscious.
  • Must pass a drug screening test and a criminal background check.
  • Must pass in-house training program.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe/acceptable driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Recent experience working in the outdoor elements through all seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily paperwork required for the site.
  • Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership.
  • Ensure safety and quality control requirements at your sites.
  • Compile all site-specific closeout documentation for your work effort.
  • Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
  • Coordinate with customer representative for site related activities and maintain a good working relationship with customer representative.
  • Always maintain equipment and vehicles in an operational condition.
  • Perform the basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Complete JSA (Job Safety Analysis) before each tower climb, to be performed by everyone on site.
  • Document JSA once job has been completed.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure proper functioning.
  • Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action.
  • Communicate orally and in writing.
  • Follow instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action.
  • Take site photos or photos of work performed.
  • Transport equipment to work sites, using utility trucks and equipment trailers.
  • Complete reports related to outages, project status, progress, or other work details, using phone and computer software.
  • Take images needed to address work issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
