About The Position

Martin Marietta is hiring a Ground Control Crew Member for its underground mine operations in Randolph, Missouri. The role involves supporting mine operations by working safely with a crew, inspecting and maintaining heavy mobile equipment, keeping work areas clean, and ensuring materials are loaded according to safety requirements. The position requires proper use of personal protective equipment, reporting needed repairs to supervisors, and completing duties with minimal supervision. Employees must be able to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 60 pounds.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 or more hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The stated pay is $27.17, with an underground differential of $0.40 per hour.

Requirements

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, and maintenance.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors year-round.
• Ability to perform physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching with hands and arms, and handling materials.

Responsibilities
