About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Ground C-sUAS Requirements Analyst to support JIATF 401 with the development, analysis, and integration of operational requirements for Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft System (C-sUAS) capabilities in ground operational environments. This role is responsible for identifying capability gaps, defining operational requirements, and translating mission needs into actionable recommendations that support planning, capability development, and mission execution against evolving unmanned aerial threats.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence, Engineering, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • Master’s Degree + 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s Degree + 8 years of relevant experience OR High School/GED + 12 years of specialized relevant experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required (must be maintainable)
  • Strong experience applying the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) at the operational/senior level
  • Experience developing operational requirements, capability recommendations, and integration strategies for C-sUAS or ground operational environments
  • Strong understanding of C-sUAS technologies, operational employment, sustainment considerations, and adversary UAS TTPs
  • Experience analyzing operational environments and translating mission needs into actionable requirements and planning products
  • Strong communication skills with experience briefing senior leaders and coordinating across technical and operational stakeholders
  • Experience supporting operational assessments, validation events, exercises (FTX/LFX/VALEX), and capability evaluations
  • Domain expertise in ground operations, including Army and Marine Corps environments
  • Experience working in joint, interagency, or coalition environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational documentation tools

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS platforms (operational or hobbyist use)
  • FAA Part 107 Certification
  • Experience supporting DoD or Federal programs
  • Familiarity with C-sUAS systems, operational testing, or mission integration efforts
  • Strong technical documentation, briefing, and reporting experience
  • Advanced degree or additional relevant certifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document operational requirements, capability needs, and performance standards for C-sUAS systems supporting ground operations.
  • Analyze mission requirements, operational environments, adversary UAS capabilities, and system limitations to identify capability gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the tactical employment, integration, sustainment, and operational effectiveness of C-sUAS systems in ground environments.
  • Support integration of C-sUAS capabilities into the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), operational planning, and mission execution.
  • Assist with capability development through operational assessments, system evaluations, requirements validation, and fielding events.
  • Collaborate with operators, analysts, stakeholders, and industry partners to refine requirements and improve mission effectiveness.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and assess adversary UAS threats targeting ground forces, infrastructure, and operations.
  • Support development of CONOPS, operational guidance, technical documentation, and capability integration products.
  • Evaluate operational feedback, system performance, and user assessments to inform future requirements and sustainment decisions.
  • Support operational evaluations and capability validation efforts for ground-based C-sUAS systems against evolving threats.
