About The Position

This role is an opportunity to establish processes and drive technology innovation at the intersection of business and technology. As an IT business analyst, you will work with an Agile team to develop digital products supporting client missions. You will help propel business analytics and processes, delve into technology trends, and deliver user-friendly client experiences. You will develop leading-edge applications and products, partnering with UI/UX designers, developers, testers, business analysts, and user experience and content specialists. Your responsibilities will include identifying client business needs, gathering user requirements, and developing user stories. You will understand overall direction and nuanced user needs, and lead your team in creating deployable features to deliver high-business value products. This role supports national security.

Requirements

3+ years of experience working with technology
2+ years of experience as a requirements analyst or business analyst
Experience leading teams and client engagements
Experience documenting and managing requirements in tools, such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Experience in requirements gathering and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues
Experience with distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and QA, and presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
Experience conducting current-state and target-state analysis and design for software applications
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Agile frameworks, including Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean, DevOps, or SAFe
Experience with brainstorming tools such as Mural or Miro
Experience working with federal and DoD organizations, including the Air Force and Space Force
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, to successfully interact with clients
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
