About The Position
As a Pet Groomer at Reber Ranch Veterinary Hospital, you will deliver high-quality grooming services for all breeds of dogs and cats. You will utilize your full range of skills in scissoring, clipping, and finishing. Your calming presence and expert handling skills will comfort nervous pets, ensuring a low-stress and positive experience for every animal. You will be the face of our grooming services, consulting with clients to understand their needs, providing expert advice, and building a loyal clientele. You will also uphold a high standard of cleanliness and organization, ensuring your workstation is always tidy, safe, and welcoming.
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a professional pet groomer.
- A passion for creating a positive, low-stress experience for every pet.
- Excellent skills in all aspects of grooming for dogs and cats, including nail trims, ear cleanings, and anal gland expression.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service, with the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
- The physical ability to handle pets up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
