About The Position

Woodward Tahoe (Boreal and Soda Springs), a year-round world-class action sports facility, is seeking a Groomer/Cat Driver. This role involves operating SnowCat equipment and performing all grooming and feature building as directed by leadership. The ideal candidate is methodical, creative, and takes pride in their work, contributing significantly to the brand by grooming trails and building parks. This position offers a unique opportunity to work and play in an environment frequented by professional athletes.

Requirements

• Valid US drivers license
• 18+ years old
• Strong communication skills
• Personal integrity and honesty
• Strong attention to detail
• Team mentally and desire to learn
• Can take direction and feed back
• Ability to work outside in a cold alpine environment
• Lift 50lbs
• Strong knowledge of skiing and snowboarding

Nice To Haves

• Prior snowcat operating
• Heavy equipment operator

Responsibilities

• Groom trails and provide highest quality snow surface for guests
• Perform pre and post shift snowcat inspections, maintenance requests and fueling
• Maintain a clean cab and snowcat
• Work under the guidance of the grooming manager, supervisor or shift lead to complete grooming tasks, trail assignments and other assigned work.
• Build and maintain lift load and unload ramps and base area.
• Assist other departments when needed
• Other duties will be assigned as needed
