About The Position

The Grocery position is a part-time union role at Cub Foods Eden Knollwood. The employee supports grocery department operations by serving customers, filling and rotating cases and displays, helping receive products, and merchandising shelves. The role also involves keeping the store clean and sanitary and completing other tasks with the team to support the department. Employees are expected to arrive promptly and work their scheduled shifts. Hours vary across Sunday through Saturday. The progressive pay scale is up to $18.00 per hour, based on experience. Position functions and physical responsibilities may vary by store location. Frequently performed physical activities include lifting and carrying over 50 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 2,000 force pounds, walking, reaching, standing, stooping or bending, squatting, kneeling, and repetitive turning and bending. Frequent equipment operation may include a forklift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, and paging system. The role also involves frequent judgment and decision-making, social skills and verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, and basic computer skills. Employees may be frequently exposed to cold temperatures and wet surfaces. Occasional activities include math or calculation and climbing ladders.

Requirements
