Grocery Stocker
About The Position
This is not a seasonal/summer only opportunity. The role involves ensuring product selection accuracy by rotating products, removing damaged or out-of-date stock, and checking codes. It also includes ensuring that unsellable items are returned or otherwise properly disposed of, following established procedures, and keeping accurate shrinkage records. The Grocery Stocker will manage grocery items to consistently provide an in-stock, on-the-shelf, fully-fronted position with special attention paid to high-volume products and product categories as well as end-caps, special displays and items on sale. Providing excellent customer service to all store patrons, participating in inventory counts, and performing opening and closing procedures as assigned are also key responsibilities. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Displaying excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Discovering customer needs and providing service in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Providing a rewarding shopping experience with accurate labeling of product shelf tags, price stickers and/or signs.
- Ensuring that grocery displays, aisles and storage areas are clean and in orderly condition.
- Effectively managing inventory by pulling back stock and re-pricing of goods, while processing new product deliveries.
- Sharing working knowledge of grocery offerings and trends.
