Responsibilities

Lead by example by delivering exceptional customer service; ordering and stocking merchandise; merchandising and displaying product; receiving and unloading trucks; assisting with staff supervision; and maintaining department cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.
Consistently represent and uphold the Co‑op brand by demonstrating Gardenland Co‑op’s vision, mission, and values in all interactions.
Act as a Co‑op ambassador with a strong understanding of the Cooperative Retailing System and the cooperative business model, striving to build and maintain positive, healthy relationships with both co‑workers and customers.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and creating positive interactions.
Communicates clearly and respectfully with both customers and coworkers.
Works well within a team environment and contributes to a supportive, collaborative workplace.
Provides supervision and direction to team members when needed.
Perform daily work duties requiring extensive walking, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, squatting, and repetitive motions.
Lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent repetitive lifting of 5–35 lbs.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards in grocery areas.
Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing questions or concerns.
Work efficiently, diligently, and collaboratively as part of a team.
