Requirements

• A minimum of two years of experience working in grocery.
• Strong knowledge of grocery products, merchandising standards, and department operations.
• The ability to oversee and train Team Members on proper rotation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
• The ability to bend, stoop, grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push or pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Model and provide exceptional Guest Service.
• Train, mentor, and coach Grocery Team Members to support their success.
• Support the Grocery Team Leader in holding Team Members accountable to department standards.
• Ensure Team Members are properly trained on product knowledge, proper rotation, merchandising standards, and closing procedures.
• Effectively resolve Guest issues and communicate concerns as needed.
• Communicate Team Member issues to the Grocery Team Leader and Store Leadership.
• Assist with the sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safe work practices.
• Provide feedback to the Grocery Team Leader to support performance reviews.
• Communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Store Leadership.
