About The Position

Field Force Merchandising is seeking part-time retail service merchandisers for an ongoing program at Kroger, with work beginning immediately. This is a permanent, part-time independent contractor position requiring two service calls per week, every Tuesday and Friday. Several stores need coverage in the Florence, Union, Hebron, and Newport, Kentucky areas, with additional openings on other programs. Each visit is estimated to take 30–60 minutes. Merchandisers change point-of-sale (POS) materials on self-standing refrigeration and/or freezer units; on promotional visits, they also change product. They stock the units and verify that the units are functioning properly. Pay is $17 per visit.

Requirements

• Have a phone capable of taking photos of completed work and uploading them to the service call report.
• Complete service visits by the cycle end date and report the work on the same day as the service.

Responsibilities

• Complete two service calls per week, every Tuesday and Friday, on the dates specified by the client.
• Change POS materials on self-standing refrigeration and/or freezer units.
• During promotional visits, change POS materials and product.
• Stock the units with product.
• Verify that the units are functioning properly.
• Complete service visits by the end date of the cycle and report the work on the same day as the service.
• Take photos of completed work and upload them to the service call report.
