Leads the Grocery department and its staff, overseeing financial stewardship, customer service, department conditions, merchandising, food safety, work safety, communication, hiring, training, and performance management. The goal is to ensure the department provides an exceptional customer shopping experience with the highest level of service and product knowledge. This management/leadership role requires providing leadership in line with company values of equity, inclusiveness, and promoting a positive and progressive work environment. The role involves engaging customers, working a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach to problems.
