We are searching for a new member of the Meijer family to deliver a quality customer experience as a Grocery Inventory Stocker at our Waukesha location! As an Inventory Associate, you will pick items from the backroom and stock the salesfloor and ensure that our customers have a variety of high-quality items to choose from. You will ensure complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements throughout your daily work. Part- Time opportunities available in the following departments: Grocery Backroom, Frozen Department, and Dairy Department Shifts available 5 AM - 1:30 PM SUN. - SAT. or 6 AM - 2:30 PM SUN. - SAT. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
You are detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
Ability to work in cold environments such as cooler and freezer
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Build rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
Ability to work in cold environments such as dairy cooler or grocery freezer.
Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
Utilizing a forklift and other powered industrial tools
Picking items from the backroom inventory management system
Working backstock to inventory
Keeping track of product inventory
Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
