About The Position

The Grocery General Duty Clerk stocks products, organizes shelves, and helps customers locate items or answer questions. For overnight shifts, the focus is on processing deliveries, stocking shelves, and resetting displays to prepare the store for the next day without customer traffic.

The role also involves moving products from the backroom to the sales floor, rotating inventory, keeping aisles clear, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. It requires steady physical work in a fast-paced retail environment, including frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 60 pounds.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks and balers following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
• Must comply with company policies, including safety, sanitation, and dress standards.
• Comfort with frequent lifting, carrying, and movement, including lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Clear communication when assisting customers.
• Attention to detail in stocking, inventory rotation, labeling, and removing outdated products.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and maintain clean, organized areas.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Stock products on shelves and maintain display standards.
