About The Position

This is a full-time position reporting to the Assistant Store Director. The role involves managing grocery employees, ensuring adherence to store standards, creating work schedules, and training new managers. The position requires customer interaction, case stocking and rotation, receiving and merchandising products, and maintaining a clean and sanitary store environment.

Requirements

Experience working in a grocery position (2-3 years preferred)
Knows about stocking, load cutting, and displaying cases
PIT Certified
Motivated to grow their career and continue learning
Physical lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.
Pushing/pulling to 2000 force pounds
Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine)
Reaching, standing, turning, walking
Mental judgment/decision making
Social skills/verbal interaction
Memorization, reading, writing, math
Physical lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs.
Pushing/pulling to 30 force pounds

Responsibilities

Make lasting connections with our customers
Fill and rotate cases and displays (maybe some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs) while maintaining appropriate shrink
Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep our shelves full and product fresh
Prioritize and establish work lists to maintain a steady amount of work for employees
Ensure all grocery employees are following store standards
Create and manage weekly work schedules for the entire team
Train and develop future Grocery Managers
Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
