City Market Co-Op is seeking a Grocery Coordinator to direct the work of grocery stockers, learn the basics of buying to purchase products, while keeping all grocery areas well stocked, staffed, and maintained! Requirements
- One year of retail or supervisory experience OR two years of customer service experience required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the Grocery team to ensure Grocery sub departments are well-stocked, rotated, clean, staffed and maintained.
- Learn the basic mechanics of buying to purchase products in absence of Buyers.
- Assisting Grocery Management in communicating policy, tracking employee performance, training, and assigning tasks to employees.
- Providing support to customers and staff as needed.
- Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
