About The Position
North Central Co-op is seeking a full-time Grocery Clerk to join their team at the Orchards Food Store in Edmonton, AB. The Grocery Clerk role involves providing excellent customer service, stocking and maintaining product displays, ensuring cleanliness, and assisting with deliveries.
Requirements
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid Alberta Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service to customers in the department
- Stock and face products in the grocery department
- Maintain a display of products ensuring facing, filling and organization of products meets company standards
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all workspaces
- Assist with deliveries and pick-ups
- Other duties as required
