About The Position

Lake Country Co-op is seeking to hire three part-time Grocery Clerks to work 15-24 hours per week at their Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Requirements

  • Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do.
  • Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including lifting of 25-50lbs, standing, walking, and kneeling.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
  • Flexible work schedule, including after school, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles with a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval as needed.
  • Receive supplier shipments and products while adhering to Food Safe and asset protection procedures.
  • Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
  • Maintain a clean department by tidying shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keeping aisles free of debris.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
