About The Position

Grocery Clerks work across the Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments at Sprouts Farmers Market. They stock shelves, fill frozen-food bins, and help maintain store cleanliness and presentation. The role may include receiving product deliveries, checking delivery accuracy, and moving products to the sales floor with equipment. Grocery Clerks rotate merchandise to ensure fresh products are available to customers and provide customer service in a fast-paced store environment. Team members under 18 are restricted from using knives other than safety cutters, using ladders, operating garbage or cardboard compactors, operating motorized or electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks), and working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods. The pay range is $17.05–$21.25 per hour. Sprouts determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications. Benefits and eligibility may vary. Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
Be able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
Be able to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 pounds from 5 to 34 inches, over a distance of up to 5 feet, for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance.
Adhere to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves and fill frozen-food bins.
Help maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
Receive product deliveries and ensure delivery accuracy.
Move products to the sales floor using equipment.
Rotate merchandise to ensure fresh products are available to customers.
Provide customer service and perform other related duties as assigned.
Follow applicable safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.
