About The Position

Grocery Clerks at Sprouts Farmers Market work across the Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments. They stock shelves and frozen food bins, help maintain store cleanliness and presentation, receive deliveries and verify their accuracy, and move products to the sales floor using various equipment. They rotate merchandise to ensure fresh products are available to customers. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and delivering customer service. Team members under 18 may not use knives other than safety cutters, use ladders, operate garbage or cardboard compactors, operate motor- or electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks), or work in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods. Duties may be amended to meet business and organizational needs.

Requirements

Be at least 16 years of age.
Be dependable and reliable, with the ability to work a changing, flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Show mutual respect for others and maintain a high ethical standard within Sprouts’ diversity, equity, and inclusion culture.
Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
Be able to perform repetitive activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
Be able to transfer boxes weighing up to 60 pounds vertically and horizontally, from 5 to 34 inches, over a distance of up to 5 feet, for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance.
Adhere to safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves and fill frozen food bins.
Help maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
Receive product deliveries and ensure delivery accuracy.
Move products to the sales floor using available equipment.
Rotate merchandise to ensure fresh products are available to customers.
Provide customer service and help customers.
Follow safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
