The Grocery/Bulk Assistant is responsible for assisting the Grocery/Bulk Manager in the successful operation and profitability of the Grocery/Bulk department. This role involves ensuring departments are inviting, full, and shoppable, maintaining accurate inventory, managing profitability, and ensuring products meet company standards. The assistant will also be involved in merchandising, stocking, training, customer service, and operational tasks such as cashiering and store opening/closing procedures.
