The Belfast Community Co-op is looking for a Grocery Assistant Manager to be a part of our leadership team! The Grocery Assistant Manager assists in all aspects of Grocery Department operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising department staff. Under the direction of the Grocery Manager, the Grocery Assistant Manager is responsible for day-to-day department functions, ensuring a fully staffed and fully stocked department. Belfast Community Co-op’s mission is to bring locally sourced, reasonably priced, organic and natural products to all while fostering an environment where everyone is truly welcome. This position provides support and leadership to both the purchasing and stocking aspects of operations in meeting sales and labor goals, developing and implementing systems, and providing initial and ongoing staff training.
