About The Position

Flow Grocer is our neighborhood store for thoughtfully sourced groceries, unsprayed produce, local breads, and non-toxic home goods, and it's also where we serve coffee. Our Grocer & Caf uevo Attendant owns both sides of this space: crafting beverages and making great grocery recommendations, all in one place. We're looking for someone who sells with warmth, connects easily with people, and makes every visit feel worth coming back for. Rotating shifts between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Requirements

2+ years in café, barista, food and beverage, hospitality, or retail
Natural at selling — product recommendations and promotions come easy
Strong communicator who stays calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Curious about what we carry and the people we serve
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation; valid Food Handler's Certificate and HPC (Required)
Experience in an upscale craft coffee environment
Background in new store openings or culture building

Responsibilities

Greet and engage customers, making confident product recommendations across grocery and coffee offerings
Promote products, beverages, and Flow merchandise naturally and warmly
Embody Flow's brand values and clean sourcing philosophy in every interaction
Craft and serve drip coffee, espresso drinks, tea, smoothies, and specialty beverages
Prepare and serve seasonal small plates and pastries
Process all orders and payments in the POS system with speed and accuracy
Stock and face all areas of the store — produce, merchandisers, and retail shelving
Monitor inventory across both spaces and replenish in a timely manner
Pack pickup and delivery orders with care; maintain a clean, organized store
Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed
