About The Position

The GRO program is Manulife's flagship early talent program, designed as a new approach to early talent development to launch careers with support, structure, and opportunities. The Investment Management Program is a key stream within GRO, a dynamic two-year rotational program for high-potential graduates aiming to become future leaders in investment and asset management. It includes three 8-month rotations across private markets, covering areas like Real Estate Asset Management, Infrastructure Equity, and Private Markets Product Development. Participants gain broad exposure to the investment landscape and build a strong career foundation. As part of GRO Investment Management, participants benefit from a supportive community, structured learning, core skills training, mentorship, and leadership exposure. The program emphasizes a values-first culture, professional development, and employee well-being, serving as a gateway to a meaningful career in investments.

Requirements

Expected to graduate in 2027 from an accredited university with a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
Working knowledge of investment and financial markets.
Demonstrated understanding of financial and investment analysis techniques.
Ability to be flexible, creative, and proactive in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a strong ability to learn new software quickly.
Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative statistical analysis.

Responsibilities

Gain valuable and diverse experience with multiple asset classes and front office exposure.
Work with a variety of Rotation Managers to maximize the opportunity to acquire technical knowledge.
Develop an appreciation of the diversity of the asset origination and asset management businesses within the context of a large global financial services firm.
