About The Position

This role involves operating heavy machinery such as front-end loaders, skid steers, and lift trucks. The technician will monitor and maintain crushing, screening, and conveying systems essential for product creation. A key aspect of this position is being multi-functional within a manufacturing setting, capable of identifying potential issues and proactively preventing them. Participation in the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Preventative Maintenance processes is also required.

Requirements

Hardhat, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes etc. required.
Ability and willingness to help throughout the Plant where needed.
Must be able to pass pulmonary function testing for respirator.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate front end loader, skid steer and lift truck.
Monitor and maintain crushing, screening and conveying systems related to producing product.
Be multi-functional in a manufacturing environment, able to assess what is going on and help prevent problems from arising.
Participate in TPM/Preventative Maintenance Process.
Operate within the grinding room operator's area of responsibility, from the stockpile to storage bunkers.
Learn all aspects of the grinding room operation and upkeep.
Provide regular communication with supervision on what material to grind and which bunker to store the material.
Provide assistance with Sand Prep duties as required.
Perform all other duties assigned.
Participate in department housekeeping and meet standards.
Be a team player and help out co-workers.
