About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Grinding Machinist to join our team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with machining experience who enjoys working with high-precision equipment and producing quality parts to tight tolerances. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating grinding equipment and be comfortable working with a combination of ID, OD, and rotary grinding machines.

Requirements

2+ years of machining experience.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Ability to perform close-tolerance machining and inspection.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Comfortable with shop math and calculations related to machining and measurement.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.
Adaptable and comfortable learning new processes and procedures.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating grinding equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate one or more high-precision grinding machines.
Operate multiple machines simultaneously based on production workload.
Work with a combination of: Inside Diameter (ID) grinders, Outside Diameter (OD) grinders, Rotary grinders
Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet print and quality requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Perform close-tolerance work and make necessary machining adjustments.
Process work orders and track materials and labor using barcode scanning systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support other machining and production activities as needed.
