Safely operate a tractor trailer in a manner that reduces risk and liabilities. Perform and properly document pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure they are in a safe and legal condition. Maintain accurate records of trip details, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance reports and hours worked. Communicate effectively with project managers, equipment operators, and other team members to coordinate material transport and delivery schedules in a direct and friendly manner. Always adhere to Emery Sapp & Sons safety policies and procedures. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on the truck and trailer when necessary. Extensive travel may be required. Accurately navigate a tractor trailer using instructions, maps or GPS, to a wide variety of locations both on road and off. Properly wear and safely use PPE. Properly record hours worked using an ELD in compliance with Hours of Service regulations. Quickly connect and disconnect hoses, as needed, for proper loading and unloading of liquid from machinery that is in motion. Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc.
