About The Position

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Grinder consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Insure a quality regrind product is being produced by separating different polymers, making sure all handles and gaskets have been removed and recording regrind totals for each shift. Monitor granulator for proper operation and report any problems to Maintenance and QA Manager. Maintain good housekeeping in Grinder Room and Scrap Area of the Warehouse. Ability to operator manual pallet jack and sit-down forklift. Other Duties as Assigned: May be assigned additional responsibilities to support production needs, including packing products, providing break coverage for packers, and assisting with other production floor activities as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Detail-oriented, good communication and dependability
  • Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operator a forklift and pallet jack safety.
  • Basic writing and math skills
