Requirements

Commitment to being a reliable and punctual team player. (Attendance on scheduled workdays is a must!)
Commitment to wearing gloves, eye protection, and steel toe boots always, and dust mask, earplugs, hard hats, and face shields as necessary.
Maintain a safe, neat, and orderly workspace.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, as well as the ability to push and pull pipe coils.
Ability to work most of the time indoors on the plant floor, with heat, dust, and noise and work some of the time outdoors in any weather condition.
Ability to remain in a stationary, standing position 80-100% of the time. Must be able to squat, bend, or stoop as much as 25% of the time on some days.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain grinding area equipment to ensure efficient and safe processing of scrap conduit.
Monitor product and equipment parameters to meet quality requirements.
Conduct minor repairs and report major problems to production leadership.
Accurately document ground product dimensions and track weights.
Coordinate tooling changes and assist with scrap material separation.
Perform cleanup in the grinding area, including waste disposal.
Perform all work cautiously, with safety of yourself and fellow team members at the top of mind always.
Help to maintain a safe space for your team to share feedback and ideas for improvements.

Immediate Openings on Night Shift Hours 7:45 pm – 8:00 am (2-2-3 shift rotation)
Day Shift Hours 7:45 am - 8:00 pm (2-2-3 shift rotation)
Night Shift receives an additional $3.00/hr shift dif)
Quarterly Performance Bonus (depending on plant performance).
